3. Door Mat Tufting Machine Model and Process Solution

(I) Core Tufting Machine Model


HCML model

  • Functional application: Customized text/pattern on the surface of door mat (such as "Welcome" and brand LOGO), supports tufting of coarse yarn (3000D or above) to enhance sand scraping performance.

  • Process parameters: Needle pitch 3-5mm, pile height 8-12mm, suitable for the wear resistance of outdoor door mats.


Plain loop model with low pile

  • Structural advantages: Low pile (5-7mm) loop pile structure, forming a dense sand scraping grid, can be embedded with quartz sand particles to enhance dust removal effect, suitable for high-traffic areas such as shopping malls and garages.

  • Material selection: Polypropylene (PP) coarse fiber, weather resistance up to UV4 level, no fading for 3 years of outdoor use.


(II) Auxiliary production process

  • Needle punching reinforcement process: The edge of the door mat is reinforced by a needle punching machine (50 needles/cm²) to prevent the pile from falling off and extend the service life.

  • Hot pressing and shaping: After the tufting is completed, it is hot pressed at 150℃ to make the loop pile structure more stable and improve the ability to resist deformation by 30%.
