How backing is applied to carpet

The procedure of how to apply backing to carpet is what our carpet backing machine can manage.

1. Once the carpet is tufted/woven, it is transferred to the backing line, ready for backing.

2. As usual, each batch/roll need to sew by a hand held sewing machine.

3. Carpet is then accumulated which we call it J-box and put through the steamer.

4. Glue is then applied to the back of the carpet by moving rollers. We call it spray coating and lick coating unit.

5. Carpet synthetic backing is then joined to the back of the carpet.

6. Stain treatment is applied. This unit is optional. The carpet then sent through the oven for drying.

7. There is another carpet accumulator unit before cutting.
   

8. Final stage of quality checking before cut the carpet.

9. Carpet is then rolled and prepared ready for dispatch.

Different carpet will have some adjustment on the unit.
