Wilton Weaving

Wilton weaving is a general method that can be used to create many different pile textures. Carpets manufactured in this way are particularly suitable for contract purposes because they can achieve low density, high product weight and strong hand feel. Wire woven weaving also provides the opportunity to produce cut, ring or cut and ring structured carpets with a variety of textures and up to six colors (frames). However, for cost reasons, there are usually two or three colors.

There are three main weaving methods of Wilton carpet: plain Wilton, multi frame Wilton and face-to-face Wilton.
