Spindle System Design Of Carpet Tufting Machine Adapting To High Speed-3

To design a tufting machine spindle mechanism that can run at high speed,the reasons why traditional tufting machine spindle mechanism can not be adapted to high speed operation were analyzed, and a design requirement for high speed spindle system configuration and a high speed implementation method were proposed.

By applying the kinematic chain regeneration and combination methods combined with the high speed method, three spindle system configurations were proposed. In the C１ solution, a double-toothed synchronous belt is used to make the adjacent mechanisms of the master and slave shafts steer in opposite directions, and a balance shaft is added to balance the inertia load transferred to the main shaft．The C２ solution is of the multi-link type, with an additional set of crank slider mechanisms to balance the inertial for cesin the vertical direction．The C３ solution uses a gear drive, two sets of crank sliders placed horizontally and symmetrically, and a balance fly wheel added to balance vertical inertia forces and store energy．The inertia load of the spindle mechanism was calculated by MATLAB software． The results show that the maximum dynamic reaction force of the spindle is smaller than that of the traditional tufting machine for all three solutions running at 1500r/min, and the maximum dynamic reaction force of C１solution is reduced by about 72.5%.
